With 50 Days Until the Election, These Eight GOP Senators Are in Danger of Losing Their Seats
There are 35 Senate seats up for election this November, 23 of which are held by Republican. Democrats could assume control of the Senate by gaining four of those GOP seats, even if Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are re-elected. If Biden and vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris are victorious, Democrats would take majority control of the Senate with three candidates gaining GOP seats. Both scenarios rest on the Democrats’ ability to successfully hold on to their party’s 12 Senate seats this November.
